Well VPN is working again since the ndiswan-file was restored. So that's a huge improvement. Thanks for solving that issue. ;-)
However trying to install the the latest Windows updates still fails. The Event Viewer reports:
Error: WindowsUpdateClient - errorCode: 0xe0000003
Also while the cbs.log file doesn't contain any "error"-entries, running sfc /scannow still reports:
"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios."
