Good afternoon, Team.
With much sadness I unfortunately have to report that after 3 months of running without problems of installing the cumulative monthly updates, It seems the problem has returned ([SOLVED] - Server 2022: Updates failing with 0x800f081f).
Server 2022 (21H2), OS build 20348.2762
Only this time the update is failing with Error (0x8007000d)??
I have of course tried all the standard solutions, you never know whether the standard solutions do actually fix the problem, unfortunately to no avail.
- Tried to install the update through the MS Catalog Server
- running the built-in troubleshooter
- scan /sfc
- renaming softwaredistribution and catroot2 folder and trying the update again
- etc. etc.
I hope you are able to assist again, I have gone through the Update Forum Posting Instructions. I have attached the CBS log and ComponentsScanner log as well. If there is anything else you require, please let me know.
Also, it would be great to know whether there is any chance I can avoid this for the future.
Thank you so much.
Best regards,
Ray
