This seems to have negligible effects, Network Location Awareness still says starting and DCOM Server Process Launcher still has high memory usage. Man, this problem is annoying.

I think for now we can say that the problem has stopped, if anything changes about this current evaluation I'll say something about it. The worst part is I don't know if it is fixed or if the service is just taking its time. But, thanks for the help it is very appreciated.

In this scenario, we would like you to perform these steps and provide us the information for further investigation.

  1. Open Task Manager and select the Details tab.
  2. Check and note the PID number for svchost.exe that is utilizing the bandwidth.
  3. Now click on Start Menu and type CMD. Right-click on the CMD icon and select Run as administrator.
  4. Copy and paste the command and press enter: tasklist /svc
  5. Now compare the PID number you have noted previously with the list in the command prompt.
  6. Provide us the services name from the command prompt that matches the PID number.
