[SOLVED] DISM Restore fails mscorlib

Hi,

Download the

Microsoft .NET Framework Repair tool and save it to your Desktop.

• Right-click on NetFxRepairTool.exe and select Run as Administrator.
• Agree with the license terms "I have read and accept the license terms" and click Next.
• After checking, the tool will indicate which problems need to be fixed.
• Click on Next to continue, when this process is finished click Next.
• The tool will now collect the log files... > when completed the following file is created: FixDotNet****.cab.
• Click on Finish to close the tool.
• Right-click on the file FixDotNet****.cab and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
• Attach the ZIP file in your next reply.

Please run the following commands and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

SFC /Scannow
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

You can ignore termsrv.dll I know what the reason for that is.

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.

• Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
• Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
• Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

• SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
• Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
• Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Was able to fix the problem based on this post: Install .NET Framework 4 (or 4.6) in Windows Server 2016

The DISM command did the trick!
Dism /online /enable-feature /all /featurename:Netfx4 /source:"E:\t\NDP47-KB3186497-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU (Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7)"

Glad to hear the issue with .NET is fixed.

You can ignore termsrv.dll I know what the reason for that is.

Could you please explain why this file was flagged as corrupted?

You can patch termsrv.dll so it allows multiple RDP session search for TermsrvPatcher
