Does anyone have this manifest file?

Open command prompt as administrator and run:
reg unload HKLM\COMPONENTS

Then try and copy the file again.

I tried that and it says "error: access denied" What should i try next? thanks so much

I might be easier to try and copy it from inside Safemode to your desktop, the hive might currently be in use by another process or service.

Once inside safe mode try and copy and paste the COMPONENTS hive:

i tried coping in safe mode and it still wont let me.
