[SOLVED] Error 800736B3 when installing Windows Updates

Hi BrianDrab, I rebooted and then attempted to install the 16 failed updates and they all failed to install with the error 80070663. Below are list of the failed updates

Security Update for Skype for Business 2015 (KB3118348) 32-Bit Edition

Update for Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 (KB3127967) 32-Bit Edition
Update for Microsoft OneNote 2013 (KB3118278) 32-Bit Edition
Update for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB3039750) 32-Bit Edition
Update for Microsoft OneDrive for Business (KB3127977) 32-Bit Edition
Update for Microsoft Word 2013 (KB3128004) 32-Bit Edition
Security Update for Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 (KB3115487) 32-Bit Edition
Update for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB3114490) 32-Bit Edition

Thanks, Attempted to install the single update but failed with the same error. I've attached the CBS.log as a zip

Ah....I've seen this error before. Do you have the ability so simply uninstall Office and then Re-install office on this server?
 
Hi BrianDrab, Would it be ok if we try a repair install first. There is Microsoft CRM plugin installed in outlook that I'd rather not disrupt. If this doesn't work then go for the full uninstall and then reinstall?
 
Hi, The repair install window popped up but disappear after a few seconds. I tried running the setup from installation CD and this error "Microsoft Setup Bootstrapper" "Windows is trying to identify the problem"

I'm planning to try and full uninstall and reinstall but I need to key the product key before I can try. I'll update you I've tried.
 
Hi, We are planning to remove and then reinstall Office 2013 Pro 32 bit this evening (timezone: GMT). I'll update you tomorrow morning.
 
Hi BrianDrab, We removed and reinstalled Office 2013 Pro successfully. Once reinstalled we were able to install the remaining failing updates. I've attached the CBS.log as a zip just in case you would like to take a look but it looks good to me.

Thanks again for your help with this issue. I've been very impressed by the time and skills you and others on the forums helping people. I would be interested in learning and possibly helping out on this forum. Do you have any advice?
