[SOLVED] Hack tool detected by MSE.

As shown in this old thread here that same line was the only significant entry removed. However, feel free to run MSE.

I'm sorry I haven't responded earlier. I did several full scans of MSE and I can say that the PC seems clean. On one of those scans I decided to delete the folder in which the hack tool was discovered. I also deleted other folders of which these tools were found. I am currently using ESET smart security Premium which expires now in 4 days. I guess you can mark this thread as solved. I am now going to use both ESET and MSE.

Keep in mind that two active antivirus programs can cause conflicts and is not recommended. You can use the online scan sites that plodr suggested as well as ESET online as used earlier in this process.

Please do the following to Uninstall FRST
  • Right-click on FRST/FRST64, and select Rename.
  • Rename it to Uninstall.exe and press Enter on your keyboard.
  • Double-click on Uninstall.exe. Your computer will restart, and allow it to do so. FRST will now uninstall.
