Hardware Shipping Issues

Easy boys! I use Amex and on a number of occassions I've had to ask them to intercede. I don't pay until they settle the case and I've never had to pay because when the suppliers money is held, they cave in. It's a shame they don't just admit the mistake(s) right off the bat, but I guess a lot of customers just let it go even if they haven't received their order or the wrong stuff is shipped.

EDIT: As I was typing my 3rd Newegg Email special came for today.

Intel Core i9-10850KA Comet Lake 10-Core 3.6 GHz LGA 1200 125W Desktop Processor w/ Intel UHD Graphics 630 - Avengers Limited Edition - BX8070110850KA

$484.99. WOW! A whole $15 off. I better hurry and order three of them.

Don't worry they have 3 of them and they will only promise 100 for delivery in 4 days Rick!
And yes you shouldn't be charged for the item until it is shipped and UPS says they never shipped it
as they are still waiting for it. Newegg is aking for return of the item which is there way of blowing smoke up
you know where.

Not had any issues with Newegg at all lately. I have used all the suppliers Bill mentioned and many more like FrozenCPU, Directron, Xoxide etc. I don't build as much in fact maybe two rigs a month now if that mostly because of Covid-19

The only vendor I dare use now is Amazon. I had noticed that "Shell Shocker" orders from Newegg were shipping in the normal 2 days so never stopped buying those and I just had one
take a week last week so I am done with all but Amazon and B&H.
