[SOLVED] How to fix windows update error Code 80073701 on windows 7?

Seeing as it doesn't seem to be my memory, if I upgrade to Windows 8...would my problems go away? Because if it would be that simple...then I would do that immediately. Again, thanks for being patient with me.

Yes, if you upgrade to Windows 8 they 'should' all go away. What I would recommend is you do a clean install of Windows 8 just to make sure everything gets removed.
