Andy,

What do you mean by:

change the drivers for the Intel (also works for AMD/Nvidia - enables TRIM for SSDs and allows SSD software to access the drive for firmware updates, etc.) to the standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller.

What does change exactly mean?

Hi, Patrick.

Right-click the current SATA controller in DevMan (referring to W7 here) and select Update driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > select the Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller.

afaik it only works with JBOD and Intel/AMD/nVidia - I use it on B75/Z77 currently and used to use it on an older Core2 AMD chipset - not RAID, JRAID, Marvell, etc.

@ satrow -- I didn't refresh; didn't see your post.

If you find mine to be inaccurate, please let me know.

I don't understand the Intel version numbers at all, assuming I got the right link!!

Thanks,

John

Thanks very much to the both of you, the Intel Storage drivers really confuse me in regards to DevMan.
