[SOLVED] kb 3097989 fails and get error 0x8007312 in update troubleshooter

SFC returned a clean CBS.log :) So everything's good in my eyes. Was there anything else?

I guess my file did get there. The SURT reports 8 problems; I guess we ignore those or I am wrong in what I did. If you are satisfied that all is well, let me know and I will say we are done. Where can I donate?

In fact, SURT doesn't report 8 problems, SFCFix does. It's because it's still using the latest CheckSUR.log to check for these. These 8 issues are the ones we addressed at the beginning, and since we fixed them, they shouldn't appear anymore if you run SURT again. Therefore, there's nothing more to address system file wise :)

And you can donate by using the link below, it really is appreciated :)

Thank you very much. One last question. How did I successfully get you the link to the file I uploaded to google drive? How could you view it without my password?

I don't know how you shared your file on Google Drive, so I cannot tell. Usually, I just right-click on the file, select Get link and copy/paste the URL it gives me there.

I was not able to copy and paste the link; I have no idea why. In one reply, I somehow included a file cbs.log That must be how you saw it. When I tried to write the link out, the posts from me show "not found'. Oh well, you have solved my problem nonetheless. Thank you; I did donate.

I guess when I provide the link , you don't need a password because I essentially shared the file with you.

So, I guess we are SOLVED. Ok by you?

thanks again

Thank you for your donation, it is really appreciated :)

And yes, this issue can be considered solved, I'm glad that I was able to assist you :)
