[SOLVED] KB4497410 not installing and WIN 7 upgrade dailing

I'm very sorry for the late reply,
No problem at all.

Step 1: Update Java
Open this web page to download the latest version. Click 'Java Download' and then 'Agree and Start Free Download'.
Download the installer jxpiinstall.exe and run it.
Click Install and then Install>.
Warning: You may get a choice to install additional software and/or allow to change your browser settings. Uncheck all that!
If you get a pop-up saying "Out-of-date Java versions detected.", click Uninstall>. This will remove the outdated Java versions.

Step 2:
Download the

NetFxRepairTool.
Double-click the file NetFxRepairTool.exe to start the tool.
Allow it to scan your computer.
If the window Recommended changes appears, take a screenshot. Read this on how to take a screenshot.
Upload the image file to a file-sharing site such as Filedropper or SendSpace and post the downloadlink.

I didn't click "next" yet (the tool is still running) because I wasn't sure.

I did click next. The result was screenshot 1.

I clicked "next". The result was screenshot 2.

I installed .NET Framework 4.8 The result was screenshot 3.

What should I do next?

Click Finish
Restart the computer.
Check Windows Update again and report the result.
If it fails, attach the zipped cbs.log to your next reply.
 
I did it, it finished without a problem, I restarted the computerm tried the update and it failed.

Then I did it again, it finished without a problem, then (without restarting) I tried the update and it failed.

I attached the cbs.log as well as the whole folder.

The CBS log looks clean. Are there other language packs installed ?
Please check Windows Update again.
When it fails take a screenshot of it and past it into your next reply.
 
I tried installied it again. It failed.
I saw that the german as well as the english (US) language pack was installed. I deinstalled the english one, restarted, tried the install again and it failed.

Restarted it afterwards, tried installing, failed (Code 643 (same as before)).
I also attached the cbs log.

It worked!

Well, the update doesn't pop up anymore. Even after repeated restarts. No other important updates are shown either (I think they are all installed).

Thank you so much!

In the next few days I will make a backup and then try to update to Win 10. Hopefully that works now.

If not too much work: what was the problem(s) with the computer?

I will go donate now. Thank you again!

Great. 2 registry settings for the Spanish .NET Framework v4 indicates v4.7. All other language settings indicates v4.8. The Spanish settings were removed.
