Could you please provide your CBS log too? It'll very likely be those package resolve errors again.

It seems that these are the only packages with errors according to the CBS now, it seems that they belong to KB5010342? Could you please follow these instructions as before:

Remove Update Manually
  1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt.
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.
    wusa /uninstall /KB:5010342
  4. Let me know if it says it was successful or if there are any errors.
If the update has been successfully uninstalled (may require a reboot) then please run the DISM command from my previous post. If the DISM command reports no problems then please attempt to install the LCU again.
 
Weird - it's saying that KB5010342 isn't install on this computer... looked through the history can't find it there either.

Hmm, that update was part of the LCU (KB5011487), what version of Windows are you currently running? 21H1 or 21H2? You can find it under the About PC applet. If you search for "About your PC" from the Start menu then it should come up.

Hi - made some progress - realized that they were layered - I did the uninstall of KB5011487 and then the uninstall of 5010342 and it _did_ remove it; dism failed at 48% and is attached. I tried a bit more and didn't really make any progress after that but i'm also including the other items you might ask for given that it was a prior standalone install?

Thanks, just wanted to make sure you were on the same version as the VM I was using.

Looks like we've gone back to the same error as before with a different update this time. Could you please provide the latest copy of your COMPONENTS hive? It should hopefully be a matter of deleting some flags like last time and then possibly uninstalling KB5005716. Let's see though once you've provided the latest hive.
 
Thank you, as suspected, those two flags which we deleted earlier are now back. Could you please run the FRST script from post #6? Afterwards, please run DISM again and then attach the CBS log.
