The actual number of things we've patched is actually relatively small, it's just that we're only doing a few at a time, so it seems like a lot. Updates alter 100s of 1000s of files and Registry entries, so when/if one goes wrong there can sometimes be quite a lot to do to put things right.
Latest logs show a new bunch of files and keys to source. Unfortunately the logs never seem to reveal everything all at once, so often it's only when you fix one thing that the next gets revealed.
Your previous log had only one missing key, and that was sufficient to prevent DISM from completing, but patching that has just allowed DISM to complete, and in doing so it's revealed other things we now need to patch.
Past midnight here, so it will be sometime tomorrow before I get back to you. Got a few things to do tomorrow as well, so it may be late in the day.
