Latency problem/ pops and cracks

i did some research on the internet and it seems that my motherboard only supports AHCI mode, that's why i can't find the option.

Did you install also the MEUpdateTool ? (11.8.55.3510 - 2018/08/31 - 6.81 MB)

1) Device manager, IDE/ATA ATAPI controllers, right-click on Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller, update driver, Search automatically for updated driver software.
If it finds a new driver and installs it, reboot and verify if the problem disappeared.

2) If it says The best drivers for your device are already installed, click Search for updated drivers on windows update.
If it finds new updates, install them, reboot and verify if the problem disappeared.

3) If it still doesn't find anything: right-click on Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller, update driver, Browse my computer for driver software, Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware, Standard SATA AHCI controller, next (and it will install the driver), close, reboot and verify if the problem disappeared.

No, should i Install it?

About points one and two, they did not find new drivers. (Search for updated drivers on windows update in point 2 only opened the windows update main page, without doing anything. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that but i assume it didnt find the drivers)

Also, I downloaded the MEUpdateTool but i don't know what to do. When clicking on MEUpdateTool.exe it appears a warning message that says to check that mei drivers are installed. Other .exe files in the folder don't do anything; how should i install it?

Did you already install all windows updates?

Try to install Chipset drivers (from your MB support webpage): 11.7.0.1057 2018/05/31 95.75MB
Then re-try with the meupdatetool.

Yes the latest windows updates are already installed. I also installed the chipset drivers and the me update tool. The latency is still here.

Let's try something simpler:
  • Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options and select High performance.
  • Uninstall ccleaner and MBAM
  • right-click windows start
  • click command prompt (admin)
  • launch the following command:
    Code:
    cleanmgr /sageset:1
  • a window will be presented in which you can choose the items to delete and click ok, then cleanmgr will start to clean the drive/partition.
I'd select them all, but you can choose to avoid some options.
  • launch the following command:
    Code:
    cleanmgr /sagerun:1
And the cleanup will start: wait until it finishes.
  • launch the following command:
    Code:
    dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase
    Wait until it finishes.
  • launch the following command:
    Code:
    chkdsk c: /b
    Reboot needed.

I followed your instruction, unfortunately i couldn't delete every one of the items in the clean manager. However i continued to the following passages and the problem it's still here
