Which of those are separate HDDs and which are just partitions?

Disk 0, disk 1, disk 2 are separate drives.
Not sure whats going on with 450 mb recovery partition.
right click it and only gives help option?

That's normal.

1. Open an elevated command-prompt.
2. Type net user sysnative /add and hit enter
3. Type localgroup administrators sysnative /add and hit enter.
4. Reboot and sign in with the sysnative user.

Retry the upgrade.

when you say sign in as sysnative user is that my normal user?

Sorry, that should have been net localgroup administrators sysnative /add

This will add your new Sysnative user to the Administrators group. I want you to log out of your account and log into Sysnative account.

Once done, retry the upgrade.

Logged out and back into my normal user account and all is updated!!!
