Aaahhh Ramen Noodles (sic)!!!

One of my favorite quick meals...

1 package Ramen (Pork or Chix flavor)
1 sausage (or 2 to 3 Hot Dogs) chopped up
1/3 cup of milk or light cream
1/8 cup grated Parmesan (Reggiano preferred)
1/4 cup butter
1/2 Tsp garlic powder
Pinch of Oregano

Boil water for noodles
Cook noodles
strain noodles

Melt the butter over low heat
add garlic powder
add flavoring packet (if too thick add a touch of water or lowfat milk
add sausage and cook until done
add milk or cream
add parmesan
simmer on low heat for a minute or two
add pinch of oregano
add strained noodles and toss
Salt and pepper to taste...

I always find it funny when people add 'noodles' to 'Ramen noodles' as they do with Sahara 'desert', you're repeating the same word! Ramen is automatically noodles, as Sahara already means desert, it's pointless to say Ramen noodles! By the way, how hard is it to make ramen? I just use the kettle to boil water, put my instant soup in a bowl add the water and it's ready, they should do that to avoid the issues.
Maybe it is to differentiate different noodles and deserts? Maybe you know what we would call oranges if they were blue.
