The instructions in this thread are not a general way to fix similar issues. It depends entirely on the errors reported in the CBS logs, or the error which showed into the Server Manager when attempting to install/uninstall a feature. So I would suggest to start a new thread here for help with other servers. That said, creating a fixlist manually is not without any risks and a small mistake in formatting may cause more issues...
