In addition to changes & improvements, this build includes a new Clipboard experience enabling pasting from the clipboard history and also pin the items you use all the time. "This history is roamed using the same technology which powers Timeline and Sets, which means you can access your clipboard across any PC with this build of Windows or higher."

Another new interesting feature is the ability to highlight any words or phrase in Notepad and you can search Bing.

There is a lot more. Check out the referenced blog post for detailed information.

What’s new in Build 17672
Windows Security Improvements

The Windows Security Center (WSC) service now requires antivirus products to run as a protected process to register. Products that have not yet implemented this will not appear in the Windows Security UI, and Windows Defender Antivirus will remain enabled side-by-side with these products.

For testing purposes, you can disable this new behavior in Windows Insider builds by creating the following registry key and rebooting the device. This key will be removed as we get closer to release.

The login screen will crash in a loop when the active sign-in method is set to Picture Password. We recommend removing your Picture Password before upgrading to this build.

FYI on the new autoplay setting in Microsoft Edge we included in the flight notes for Build 17692.

Looks like I jumped the gun on this one 😬 This didn't quite make it into this flight. Sorry for the confusion! Consider this a spoiler for an upcoming build 😉

Going forward, RS5 builds will come from the RS5_RELEASE branch. For Insiders who chose to “skip ahead”, 19H1 builds will continue to come from the RS_PRERELEASE branch. Insiders can see the branch name in the watermark at the lower right of their desktop. Right now, the builds from these branches are largely the same which is why we’re only doing a single blog post for both of today’s new builds. However, in the future we will be doing separate blog posts for each. To summarize all this, see the below graphic that explains what Skip Ahead is.

Check out the blog post for new features, fixes/improvements and known issues. Also note the next Bug Bash:

Join us for our second RS5 Bug Bash running from July 27th through to August 5th, 2018. You know the drill – get your quest on! With the second RS5 Bug Bash, Insiders in the Slow ring can also participate! AND we’ll be doing a Mixer webcast on Wednesday August 1st at 10am PDT. Also – you can enter to win a trip to Microsoft’s campus here in Redmond, WA!
