Also, atikmpag.sys shows:
- timestamp Mon Jul 18 22:32:52 2016 (578D3CF4)
- size (if I'm not wrong) 516 kB (528 384 bytes)
- I can't find the version
But the driver I extracted from AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.7.1_X64 (NON-WHQL edition) (taken from sapphiretech.com - HD 7850 2G D5 - downloads - windows 7 x64 (click)) shows:
- timestamp Wednesday July 6th 2016 04:13:44
- size 486 kB (498 176 bytes)
- version 8.14.1.6512
Hence you could try to update the drivers for your graphic card with that...
Another thing you could check is if you have dust to remove inside your pc, especially from fans and air slits, and if your cpu wants a bit of new thermal past (thermal compound).
Check also the graphic card connector and its slot (remove it, clean the slot and the card connector, re-insert it).
Not sure if you can also change the thermal past on your GPU (I never did it, but it seems it's possible).
I uninstalled ASRock XFast USB Utility.
For the GPU you are not totally wrong and you are not totally right. In fact I didn't got the fresh new drivers which is the 16.9.1 (sapphire website is not update that frequently about the drivers updates). I'm currently running on the 16.7.2 version which was the last presumed working version for my computer as I already said at the beginning of this thread. I already removed all the dust in my pc a month ago, I also changed the thermal past on the CPU. Finally I cleaned the PCI slot and the GPU connector aswell however I didn't disassemble the GPU cooler to change the thermal paste.
I also got some news about my initial random black screen problem. It seems to be an overheat related problem because everytime this balckscreen happens is when the GPU gets over 64°C. I know that the GPU are supposed to be way more resistent than that (IIRC their heat limit is fixed arround 100°C). I tweaked the fan settings yesterday and it seems to be better, the base fan settings was linear and at 60°C the fan speed was only arround 40%
