Hi. . .

The bugcheck on the last dump was 0x7f (0x8,,,) = the CPU signaled a "double fault" - an exception (error) occurred during the handling of an exception; the CPU called it quits and a BSOD ensued.

The probable cause is listed as -
Code:
Probably caused by : Unknown_Image ( ANALYSIS_INCONCLUSIVE )

An "unknown image" could indicate kernel (OS) corruption; hence the reason it is prudent to test hardware.

Please run SeaTools for DOS, LONG test - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutorials/4072-hard-drive-hdd-diagnostics.html

Hi jcgriff2, i was trying to run the HDD diagnostics but when the program starts appears a message saying "no hard drive found"

my main HDD its a WESTERN DIGITAL WDC WD1002FBYS - 18A6B0

OK - so the HDD shows up in BIOS, but when you boot with the CD you burned for SeaTools for DOS - no HDD is found?

For reference, when HDD's don't show up it's a bug with either the firmware or the hard disk model specifically. See if a firmware update is available for your hard disk. Does it show up in the Windows version of Seatools as opposed to DOS?

Regards,

Patrick
