read/write speed on USB3.2 flash drive topped to 40/15 instead of 150-65

Hope this isn't true in your case, but read anyway. [SOLVED] - can I upgrade USB ports via BIOS?? At least make sure firmware is up to date in bios and 3.2 USB is allowed.
Only have this in BIOS. Not much on enabling 3.2 or anything else.
Can update BIOS though as I see an available update in MSI Center.
But as mentioned above, another sandisk flash drive can run on 65MB.
It's only this sandisk drive that only has 15MB and on another laptop 65MB.
Tbh, not thinking of a solution here...

I just re-read this whole thread and to me it points to something inherent in that particular Sandisk drive. If another Sandisk drive gets 65/Mb on the same port then the drive itself is to blame.

The NAND Flash chip on that USB may be limited by its manufacturing process.
Below is the explanation for the different grades of the chips.

It isn't limited though on another laptop. Or am I missing something here?
It worked before as a ~60MB drive and even does that as said multiple times on another laptop.
Also I can put another sandisk in it and it works on ~60MB, so to me the port isn't bad or corrupted. Even the sandisk isnt corrupted because it's working as ~60 on another laptop.

edit: going to buy another spare flash drive on 60MB speed (as a need these for a lot of filetransfers back and forth from laptop to OTG) and forget all about this ;)
Seems a tough one to fix so I'm going to use the 'slower one' for some other not-daily usage.
