Thanks!

Step#1 - FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download the attached fixlist.txt and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.
6. Try updates and attach CBS.log if any fail.

Hi,uploading the procmon log kept dropping, so I checked for the presence of the 2 updates listed in the other post, one was missing, KB4490628 so I downloaded from MS catalog and installed it. After that the monthly rollup update downloaded and installed ok. It seems you managed to fix the previous problems I had, but the SHA-1 / SHA-2 issue was the reason that KB4512506 wasn't installing. I will advise if there are any problems after a restart, and confirm what happens at the next monthly rollup. Many thanks for your help, really appreciated !

All good after the restart, manual updates still working fine as before, now security monthly quality rollup for Windows Server 2008 R2 KB4512506 showing installed OK. Can you advise how can I get the 2 x sfcfix.txt results on Sunday 25.08.2019 post #26 and #28 removed from here, not very keen on leaving partial user info to anybody interested... Thanks !
