Server 2008 SP 2 Hash Mismatch/Updates Fail Install

Would you please try uninstalling your Internet Explorer all the way down to IE8 and then running SFC.

If you encounter errors along the way, please report them and wait for further instructions.
 
Unable to uninstall anything OS related. Uninstalling IE9 resulted in: Windows Update An error has occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled. Many Event Viewer event ID 4375.
 
Yes it is. It might be easier to wipe and reload. Only has network shares on it. This server is generating GBs of logs.

As you wish. You have two of the toughest corruption types on your machine. We can try and battle it as I like challenges, but please know that this could take quite a bit of time to fix. As this is a Server machine whose operation might be vital for the company, I leave the decision of whether to wipe and reload to you :)

For KB4487023 error code 8007371C. Fails install so no prompt for reboot.

Event ID 20 WindowsUpdateClient - Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8007371c: 2019-02 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows Server 2008 for x64-based Systems (KB4487023).
 
Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
 1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Try installing the update just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar.
4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log
