Server 2016 Unable to fix corrupt Component Store

Yes, in most cases there is always a way to fix these kind of problems, I have asked the Windows Update instructor if he might have a tool for this.

Hi,

Could you please perform the following to check some folders.

Open an elevated command prompt and run the following commands. Attach Dirlist.txt to your next post.
Code:
dir /s /a %systemroot%\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-m..ac-ado-ddl-security_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.14393.0_none_dfa30257571528a2 > "%userprofile%\Desktop\Dirlist.txt"
dir /s /a %systemroot%\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-mfmpeg2srcsnk_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.14393.0_none_791c03f4e5099d95 >> "%userprofile%\Desktop\Dirlist.txt"
dir /s /a %systemroot%\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-mfmpeg2srcsnk_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.14393.3630_none_c13169932910d621 >> "%userprofile%\Desktop\Dirlist.txt"

Here's the next fix, I'll need to test some things on a VM to find out if I can automate this process,

Step 1.
Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Attachments

Applied SFCFix.zip

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
100.0%
The restore operation completed successfully.

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
23.8%
Error: 14098

The component store has been corrupted.

Possibly the number of corruptions is less that I initially thought.
