Please Note:: if the file is too big (over 7MB) to upload to your next post, please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

Please provide a copy of your components hive.

Retrieve Components Hive
1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
2. Please copy this file to your desktop.
Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again. If you are unable to reboot the server, let me know and I'll provide alternate instructions.
3. Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
4. The file will likely be too large to upload here so please upload to SendSpace and just provide the link here.

there is no such file in c:\Windows\System32\config\ :(

this is realy strange... I cant see files in config dirctory, but I can see them in daily backup... I am loged in as administrator and access rights of config directory are correct

omg... I dont know why, but I can see content of config dirctory in explorer but not in Total Commander (TC is configured to show ALL files hidden and system too)

Maybe there is problem in files and dirs owner, it is set to SYSTEM now. But is that right? Shouldnt it by administrators all with subdirs? I found article about W7 and there is mentioned default permisons:
Code:
c:\Windows\System32\config

   Owner: Administrators

   DACL(protected+auto_inherited):
   TrustedInstaller full allow container_inherit
   SYSTEM full allow container_inherit+object_inherit
   Administrators full allow container_inherit+object_inherit
   CREATOR OWNER full allow container_inherit+object_inherit+inherit_only

c:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile

   Owner: Administrators

   DACL(protected+auto_inherited):
   SYSTEM full allow container_inherit+object_inherit
   Administrators full allow container_inherit+object_inherit
Maybe its different in WS2013R2...

I don't know much about total commander so I can't provide an explanation. Thanks for providing the info. Do you have IIS installed/enabled on this machine?
