sfc fails dism fails sfcfix reports no errors

Great!

Time to try upgrading:


  1. Download the Media Creation Tool and save this to your desktop. Go ahead and run this as well. Note: Click the Download tool now button when you get to this link.
  2. Accept the License Agreement
  3. Download the ISO file to your desktop.
  4. Double-click on the ISO and then run the setup to try and upgrade your machine.
 
One question... won't upgrading from media un-install my programs in windows 10? My whole reason for wanting to get this fixed was to not have to re-install programs...

This partition is on an SSD attached via SATA. Now that all updates are done and everything is healthy... is it safe to copy this over to my NVMe drive?
