[SOLVED] sfc /scannow and Windows Update not working

As of today Windows Update is no longer working, error codes when installing: 0x80073701 & 0x80073712.
Ran sfc /scannow and it wasn't able to fix all problems. Seems that the folder C:\Windows\winsxs\TEMP\PendingRenames is filling up (currently contains approx. 9000 files, number increasing every time I run sfc /scannow)

  • Download

    SFCFix and move the executable to your desktop.
  • Download the attachment SFCFixScript4.txt and save it on your desktop.
  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Drag the SFCFixScript4.txt file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply.

Restart the computer.
Run SFC again as instructed below and post the resulting CBS.log.

SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
    button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    Code: 
    sfc /scannow
    Wait for this to finish before you continue

    Code: 
    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt
  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.
    Note: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the download link.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

The file CBS.log in post #34 is the same as in post #30.
Please run "sfc /scannow" as instructed in post #33 and post the new logfile.
 
I have the same problem sfc /scannow don't work and dism fail to find sources. I need some help with this. I ran the sfcfix with the first script and got this:
