sfc /scannow error "could not perform requested operation"

Can you provide me with any further help? I just ran sfc /scannow and it was still working, but checking for updates has been running for 15 minutes without stopping.

Soon after I sent this windows update told me there were no new updates.

Okay. But when I run DISM I'm still getting an error message. If I need to use system restore to restore my computer to a state before I implemented the fix you gave me, will the fix still be in place? Or will I have to redo it?

I just searched for new updates again and it told me "windows could not search for new updates" and showed error code C80003FA. How should I proceed?

I decided to run sfc /scannow and just searched for new updates again and it came up with servicing stack update KB4540725. Last time I tried installing that back in March it prevented me from searching for new updates and I had to run a system restore. Do you suggest I try to install it again and see what happens?

I installed servicing stack update KB4540725 and ran a dism and this was the result:

I'd like to thank you for the help you've provided me. But I was wondering if you could assist me further in fixing the issue I am having with my computer. I would be happy to compensate you for your services if required. Or, if you could connect me with someone else that could provide me with the assistance I need I would really appreciate it. I don't want to monopolize your time, but I'm very concerned about my computer. Thank you for your time.

Here you go.
