sfc /scannow not working

Theres a lot of different type of keys for windows 10 pro. OEM, Retail, Volume. Since I might upgrade pc on upcoming years, should I go with retail keys?

As a struggling student who can barely pay the tuition fee, It's tough for me to buy a legal copy of windows 10/11.

I've looked for grey market keys but even then gambling $20-30 is a lot for me. On top of that I really want to own a legal copy so that I have more control on my system (even tho Microsoft might see my data, its better than having a 3rd party to see your data). So for now I disabled my activation

I kinda learned a bit, I used Mint and switched to EndeavorOS. I mostly learned from customizing my themes and stuff. However I play games and use some program which is easier to setup in windows.

Bearing in mind that the SteamDeck uses Linux, and has pretty good support for games, you could run a Linux OS using Proton and have fairly good support for a large chunk of Windows games.

Compatibility will vary by game, but you can also check out the Steam listings for "runs great on steamdeck" for games that should run well on Linux.

It probably won't be quite as smooth as Windows for some games, but on the whole gaming support has improved significantly.

I understand you perfectly, same situation with me, but I must say that it seems that now you can install the official version and it works without activation, or am I wrong?
Yeah, after multiple repairs and failures, I could finally update my windows and now I kept it non-activated
