SFCFix cannot automatically fix all corruptions (Win 7 64bit)

You have multiple antivirus programs installed which is not good. Uninstall "AVG Protection".
Uninstall "Java SE Development Kit 8 Update 144 (64-bit)" also.

Tell me if the uninstall went successful or not.

Great, now perform the following only.

Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Post the logfile Fixlog.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Thanks for that! Gave that a whirl and rebooted in normal mode, bam! Everything seemed good once again. So I restarted to check it was all okay, and it once again hit the roadblock of failing to finish booting/starting. Shut it down a few hours ago whilst I went to do some things, expecting to come back to it stuck again, but now she's booted just fine once again! Yet I haven't changed anything between the last 3 boots, with two different results.
I'm going to quickly check whether commanding a restart as opposed to shutting down and turning back on has anything to do with it..

Oh one thing to note is that on shutdown from normal mode, ever since this issue started (even when it boots correctly) it seems to freeze on the 'Shutting Down...' screen and requires holding down of the power button to finish the shutdown.

Can't see a correlation between the failed launches and the method of restart. Though the freezing on shutdown is very repeatable and interestingly does not occur when restarting!?

We are not done yet. Please attach the file Fixlog.txt first so I can see the result of the last fix.

Uninstall the following AVG items:
Note: watch the names carefully, do not uninstall the "Microsoft Visual C++ ..." items.
  • Visual Studio 2010 x64 Redistributables
  • Visual Studio 2012 x64 Redistributables
  • Visual Studio 2012 x86 Redistributables

Step 1: FRST Scan
  1. Right-click FRST64.exe as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  2. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  3. Press the Scan button.
  4. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  5. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2:
Tell me how the computer running now. Any improvement ?

I've performed a bunch of restarts/shutdowns and it looks really promising! It's now actually shutting down properly rather than freezing, and I haven't yet had the failed start issue!
I think you might've fixed the lot unless you notice anything out of the ordinary in the attachments?

Not much. There a bunch of items that could be removed but these are related to AutoDesk and I don't want to ruin that installation.

Step 2:
Run Malwarebytes and perform a scan. Allow the installation of the latest version first.
If it finds some threats, let it clean them.

Step 3:
Are there any remaining issues ?

Yeah that AutoDesk installation has always been messy, particularly because there's multiple versions since they're not fully backwards compatible.
Please see the attached fixlog!

Well funnily enough Malwarebytes had a right moment when I tried to start it, see attached picture. But after an uninstall and reinstall all seemed fine and the scan ran without any worries!

She seems to be running like a charm now! Thank you so much for your help!
I'll definitely be donating to help support you guys, really can't thank you enough
