Good job GZ, I never thought about drilling holes for cable pass through. Did you take the conductors out of the connectors?

Well I tried to edit the above post and all the pics disappeared. :mad7:
The 3rd and 4th pics should be swapped in order.

Looking good there. Looks like a nice, clean Job.

Yes, I removed the connectors and used grommets that were just the right size for the wire bunch. I would have liked for the hole for my 24pin ATX connector to have been a bit larger, but my step bit only gets so big. As it is, it worked out fine. The only major connectors I ran behind are the CPU connector and the ATX-24 connector. The rest of the PSU cables are bunched up in the cable management area behind the drive bays.

I prefer my step bits to hole saws for sheet metal. The opening is cleaner and more consistent. I do need to get myself some larger step bits though!!!

The biggest problem were the grommets I have... The larger ones have a very thick wall so I settled for the one that just fit... All in all, it is probably better this way... The cables fit perfectly with little to no wiggle room.

I was thinking about adding some ventilation holes to my rig... Using my .22 or 30-30...:banghead:

Did you ever see the thread at TSF where the kid got his computer shot by his mother? :lolg:

Can't remember the exact topic but I know he had a .22 round stuck in his HSF.
