The error is there because of the drive.

But I'm still wondering.

You said the SFC /scannow failed due to the hard disk poor condition.

Then what about the failed Windows Update? Actually this is my pure concern in the first place.

Because without this Windows Update I could not install some software to do my work

Method 2

You may also re-register Windows Update DLLs.

To do this, follow these steps:

1.Click on Start, Run, and type CMD and click ok
2.In the black command window type the following command and press Enter

REGSVR32 WUAPI.DLL

Wait until you receive the "DllRegisterServer in WUAPI.DLL succeeded" message and click OK.
* Repeat the same step for each of the following commands:
REGSVR32 WUAUENG.DLL
REGSVR32 WUAUENG1.DLL
REGSVR32 ATL.DLL
REGSVR32 WUCLTUI.DLL
REGSVR32 WUPS.DLL
REGSVR32 WUPS2.DLL
      REGSVR32 WUWEB.DLL

For the 2nd item, WUANUENG.DLL, I got this error:

"The module "WUAUENG.DLL" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found."
