[SOLVED] Update Failure Error 800B0100

Well, if you were to not follow my instructions, I don't know how I would be able to assist you haha :)

Alright, I'll consult with my colleagues and see what can be done about this. As I said, I'm still learning and it's the first time that I encounter this "issue" so I would like to know what's happening as well. And yes, Dropbox is an amazing program, I couldn't live without it :P

Well, I have a wife and daughter so I'm probably used to following orders without realising it.

Please present my compliments to your colleagues along with an apology for causing bother.

Hi, Aura,
Please accept my apology for not having replied.
It was at this point that my daughter borrowed my laptop and moved 250 miles way, temporarily.
It was only temporary. After a spell in Switzerland, she is now 2,000 miles away in Malta. I have not had any notification of problems with the laptop so I conclude that it must be running satisfactorily. "Conventional Wisdom" suggests that a Father / Daughter / computer scenario will end only one way; or may have ended already, as I have never travelled by air, nor shall I.
I offer my thanks to you and your colleagues for the help and advice I received. I regret having troubled you, especially as I have insufficient evidence to report a success.
Best wishes,
percy.

All good percy don't worry :)

Well, if your daughter ever report that the laptop still have a Windows Update issue, you are free to create a new thread here and I'll assist you once more :)

Ta for prompt response from the night shift. It shows great dedication and generosity of spirit. I wonder whether I could persuade your parents to agree to swap daughters?
Keep up the good work - not that you need any urging - it is much appreciated.
