[SOLVED] Update Windows7 to SP1 Code 80073701

I see some errors in your WindowsUpdate log that the following Windows Update Troubleshooter may resolve.

Code:
2015-04-13 20:41:46:228 148 2a0c Handler UH: DpxRestoreJob returned 0x80070002
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/910336

Please run the troubleshooter. If you are given an option to run this in "Aggressive Mode" please do.

Let me know what the results are and if it says it fixed anything.

Thanks.

We corrected all the registry errors/missing files for wialx005 however now your machine is complaining about wiasa002.

So I'll prepare some fixes for that as well.

Unfortunately last "Restore previous versions" is from last day. Last restoration point is from fresh installed OS + base programs.

I dont know, but I think my hive have good size, or?

OK, please do the following. Don't try re-installing any Windows Updates or Service Packs yet. Thanks.

Step#1 - SFCFix Script
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCScript.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

Step#2 - Re-Run System Update Readiness Tool
Please follow the instructions Here to run the System Update Readiness Tool. When the SURT finishes installing, zip up and attach the following log file.

C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

Please Note:: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

Hello Brian,
I feel like a never-ending story :-/

We may have to do a repair install. We'll see. Please do the following to replace the missing payload files.

  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

Thanks.
