[SOLVED] Updating W7 to W10 fail

one of the actions I tried was to remove the oemx.inf files (It was an advice on the internet). If I remember correctly, this was in the dism file.
It don't see that in the dism.log you provided.

That's why I'm telling you : I'm wondering if, because I deleted the files, they don't appear anymore in the dism file, but the problem is still here

Please find the file attached, and sorry for the delay

Try the upgrade again.
During the upgrade (installation of Windows 10), click on "Change on how Windows Setup downloads updates" and select "Not Right Now".
Proceed with the upgrade.

Hi,

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't have that option. The steps I have are :
1) Accepting the CGU
2) Choosing if I want to upgrade this PC now or create a .iso to install it on another machine
3) Choosing if I want to keep files or delete part or all of them

Then the update goes on on its own

Okay. Try the upgrade without an internet connection.

It has finally worked !

Thank you very, very much !

For the record, the Media Creation Tool won't work without an internet connection, so I had to create an .iso file that I mounted without an internet connection, and it worked
There were several updates available after that in Windows Update that caused no issues, but I've not tried upgrading to W11

Great.
Stay with Windows 10 for a while and let it install the available updates.
You may want to check first if this machine meats the hardware requirements for Windows 11.

Take care.
