Great.
In your initial post you said "Windows 7 got Russian malware at some point".
Do we have to look at that too or is that already fixed ?

Again, thank you very much. All updates were installed. I'm amazed by your skills; I tried many times with SURT and sfc and google.

The malware part (mail.ru virus) took place around october 2016. I fixed it, I installed free AVAST and I have never had any symptoms for months (apart from notebook driver-related occasional system hang when playing HW-accelerated videos).
But I'm just an amateur and I can't be sure some hidden rootkit remained ... I can run a quick GMER scan and post it here or forget about it and ask for help if I notice any symptoms. What do you suggest?

FRST Scan

  3. Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  4. Press the Scan button.
  5. Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  6. Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.
