Re: [Win7SP1 x86] wuapi.dll error when installing updates.

Please check Windows Update and report the result.

Question: This looks like a wrong German translation in the logfile of FRST: Entferungsergebnis
Shouldn't that be Entfernungsergebnis ?

You're right. Looks like the log generator has got a typo built-in :)

In other news. The wuapi.dll error is now successfully fixed. But now it is about another missing .dll file.
Here's a screenshot.

Okay, we're a step further now. But unfortunately another error shows up...
this time it's 'wu.upgrade.ps.dll'

2017-11-22 10_18_10-pc103 - TeamViewer.png

Different than before though, after this error, the 'starting installation' progress-bar ran a lot longer.
But after about 30 seconds (before the previous fixes it ran not even a second) the 2nd error msg comes up:

Great. Please check Windows Update and report the result.

Looking much better now.

No *.DLL-Errors when starting the SURT.
Though it gives me the same 'Error Starting Server'-Message with SURT, I can now run the offline-updates I intended.

MessageBox:
2017-11-22 10_20_54-pc103 - TeamViewer.png

But the WSUS Offline Update-Tool runs perfectly smooth now.
2017-11-28 12_59_09-pc103 - TeamViewer.png

Once all the updates have been installed, I'll run the SFC.exe /scannow again and try the SURT afterwards as well and tell you how it worked out.
