Ok, in that case lets try to upgrade to Windows 10.

If it fails collect the logs Setupact.log, setuperr.log and the report generated by the SetupDiag

Well now! I want to thank you SO MUCH! your unrelenting desire and highly intelligent mind cured my Windows issue. I did just make a small donation to Sysnative, is there something else I can do for you? I am booted in to Windows 10 and I am using it. I just re-installed Norton. So far so good. Win 10 does not like my wifi but I do have a hardwire ethernet so good there. :) However, I still miss the good ol' days of Windows XP, LOL. Win7 is the close 2nd place.
