[SOLVED] When in "Sleep," Computer Shuts Down on its own

The log info looks normal.
Adjust all items at the current power settings to "Always on".
Does the computer still shuts down after 30 minutes in sleep mode ?

The available power settings in Win7 are: Dim the display; Turn off the display; Put the computer to sleep. Each can be set for 1 minute to 5 hours or Never. I put the computer to sleep for an hour and once again, at some point during that time it had shut it down. So unfortunately, the issue still persists.

The available power settings in Win7 are:
Set them all to "Never".
Does the computer stay on ?

Actually, my workaround has been to set "dim the display" to 5 minutes, "turn off the display" to 15 minutes and "sleep," to Never. As long as "sleep" is set to Never, the computer will stay on. They used to call New York the city that never sleeps. Do you think my computer just went New York style? :(

Peter- The issue still persists. If the computer is in "Sleep," it will shut down improperly on its own. Do we have any other things we can check to find the cause or are we at the end of the road on this issue.

Step 1:
I uninstalled Driver Booster 7 and IObit Uninstaller 9 per your instructions.

Step 2:
I went to the Java web page to download the latest version. However, I got a message that
Firefox no longer provides NPAPI support (technology required for Java applets)
This means Firefox can't run in Firefox. Since this is the browser I use and prefer, I didn't install the latest version, and instead clicked on "Uninstall all previous versions." Apparently, the only version the Java program found to uninstall was Java 8, Update 151. I also told it to remove the Java Cache as well (which was recommended).

Step 3:
I ran FRST in instructed and it completed successfully. The Fixlog.txt is attached below.

I will wait to hear from you.

Check the sleep issue and report back.

I still have the issue. In addition to the changes I made per your instructions, I noticed that in addition to the Microsoft Power Management program, there was also another PM program from Lenovo. I deleted the Lenovo PM program, but still no success.

Restore the default settings for the current power plan:

Close all open programs and save any work that is open.
Open Control Panel - Power Options.
At the current selected power plan, click Change plan settings.
Click Restore default settings for this plan.
Click Yes to confirm.

Does that fix the issue ?

Sad to say, I still have the issue. The computer works perfectly well in every other respect. But this one issue persists. Very strange.

Thanks Peter, I appreciate your work on this issue. It's a bugger. I'll follow your recommendation.
