reporting that the new exe works... I initially tried the new exe with the old zip and it didn't work, but when I downloaded both new exe and zip, everything went fine... opencl.dll fixed again, thanks aura!

Hi...just joined after a month of searching for a repair to 2 Window 10 Pro devices from different manufacturers. After attempting to install 10 Pro again yesterday on a Surface Pro 2, I experienced the sfc corruption I experienced in Nov 15. After a couple of hours with 'chat' with ms and another install, I came across your repair. It works and I am grateful for the help and program. I will give it a few days and drag out the other HP 8.1 Pro device...Install 10 again and investigate the exact cause of the corruption, and hopefully your repair will be utilized again.

This corruption is caused by the NVIDIA installer overwriting the opencl.dll file from Windows with its own :)

Hello all, I am "BeeTrap". I just joined yesterday to try the "SFCFix" procedure. I too had a corrupted "OpenCL.dll". I have tried just about everything that I could find on the Internet, but no good.
Today I ran the "SFCFix" and all is well with the CBS.log output. As several other websites, and this one, have said, this may not be an actual "problem", but it bugged me silly. I just want to say
Thanks for the help. Now I just need to get KB3135173 to act right...........

Thank you so much, I just realise how stupid I am after download the ISO file and try to fix it with dism. :thud:Will Microsoft fix this issue any time soon? Since false alarm is not really really not a good thing...

I have no idea of when Microsoft will fix that issue sadly. It's up to them.

I used the sfcfix and although no corruptions were detected, when i afterwards ran sfc scan i still get opencl.dll hash mismatch...

Hi orvitam :)

SFCFix won't be able to get information from the CBS.log to show corruption if there's none. Now if you run SFCFix, it should report the opencl.dll corruption. In your case, you can follow the instructions in this guide and run the fix to replace the corrupt opencl.dll file.
