[SOLVED] [Win10Build10586 x64] update to Build 1607 does not work - Error 0x800f081f

Here's what I would try next. Ensure that you are on the most recent BIOS. Download/install from the following link.
http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/p...ops/thinkpad-edge-e520/1143/1143b4g/downloads

Uninstall "Lenovo Screen Reading Optimizer for Windows" if on your machine.

Disable the IntelĀ® HD Graphics 3000 in your BIOS and just use the AMD graphics driver for the upgrade. If you can't disable it in the BIOS for some reason at least disable it in Device Manager. If you can't do any of these then at least attempt an upgrade to the newest driver from the following link.
Download Intel(R) HD Graphics Driver for Windows* 7/8-64-bit

Lastly, uninstall your OfficeJet printer software from Add/Remove programs and make sure it's disconnected from your machine.

Repeat steps in Post#12. I understand you won't have internet access in this environment but you shouldn't need it if you kick off the install from the files that are already downloaded. I believe it is C:\$Windows.~BT\setup.exe
If that doesn't work then use the Media Creation Tool to create an ISO of Windows 10, then when you boot into this enviornment we can just install from the ISO.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need more details as you go through this.

Sorry to ask: How to I get to the BIOSI've tried F1, F2 at boot , and as well from windows settings, restore, new start with UEFI. But there is no UEFI icon

F1 should do this at boot but you need to restart your machine when attempting this. Don't start from a shutdown as it likely won't work. Let me know if that works.

I'll try this once more for the next re-boot with F1, but I am pretty sure I've tried this already.
Updating the Intel HD3000 driver leads to the message that I'm trying to install a driver which is older than the installed one:
Intel audio 6.14.0.3074
Intel HD Graphics 3000 9.17.10.4459
Should I do this?
I've disabled the intel driver in the device manager. But then I receive messages that AMD radeon 6600/6700 driver does not work. Installing new AMD (by automatic detection) driver does not work. I'm afraid that AMD 6600/6700 is not supported for win10?

F1 does not work at start of boot.
Well, Intel HD is deactivated, and AMD graphic is activated, but with a bad resolution.
I'll continue now with the clean boot steps

Wow, it's done.
My notebook is on 1607.
