Here's what I would try next. Ensure that you are on the most recent BIOS. Download/install from the following link.
http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/p...ops/thinkpad-edge-e520/1143/1143b4g/downloads
Uninstall "Lenovo Screen Reading Optimizer for Windows" if on your machine.
Disable the IntelĀ® HD Graphics 3000 in your BIOS and just use the AMD graphics driver for the upgrade. If you can't disable it in the BIOS for some reason at least disable it in Device Manager. If you can't do any of these then at least attempt an upgrade to the newest driver from the following link.
Download Intel(R) HD Graphics Driver for Windows* 7/8-64-bit
Lastly, uninstall your OfficeJet printer software from Add/Remove programs and make sure it's disconnected from your machine.
Repeat steps in Post#12. I understand you won't have internet access in this environment but you shouldn't need it if you kick off the install from the files that are already downloaded. I believe it is C:\$Windows.~BT\setup.exe
If that doesn't work then use the Media Creation Tool to create an ISO of Windows 10, then when you boot into this enviornment we can just install from the ISO.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need more details as you go through this.
