[SOLVED] [Win10v1703Build15063 x64] System service exception BSOD, SFC and DISM didn't work

Just restarted the PC, trying to use the Save as dialog on notepad continues to crash it :/.

I don't know if that's connected to the blue screens, but it's the only thing I can use to really test if there are issues with the PC.

Please do the following.

Step#1 - Gather Event Logs
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCScript.txt.
  5. Drag the file SFCScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please
  9. In addition a file will be created on your desktop named EvtLogs.zip. As this file will likely be too large to attach to your reply, please upload this file to a file sharing/hosting site such as SendSpace, Dropbox or Onedrive and provide the link in your next reply.

Trying to run SFCFix resulted in it crashing and generating this log:

Can you zip up and attach the following two logs in your next reply?

Looks like it is one of your 3rd party apps causing the issue. Probably the easiest way would be to enable half of the 3rd party services and reboot and see if the issue exists. If it does then it's one of those and keep splitting it in half until you find the culprit. Make sense? I can try to help narrow it down if you like but it may be quicker for you to do that.

I know exactly what you mean, give me a few minutes to test out which one might be doing it.

Sorry that took so long, it seems like there are chain reaction issues going on. The two startup apps causing issues are OneDrive and Wallpaper64, the wallpaper engine app from steam.

There are also a bunch of services causing issues, either not allowing the save as function to work, or crashing COM surrogate, or both.

The services I boiled it down to are:
ASUS Com Service
ASUS System Control Service
Google Update
Various NVIDIA services
Stardock Start10
Teamviewer 12

So upon even further testing, it seems none of the services are the issue. It's a singular app causing the problem, called Bins. It allows you to stack programs on the taskbar. It seems only when it's running that these crashes happen. As soon as I terminate it, everything works.

Great job!! Yes, it's not always easy to narrow down. So are you going to uninstall this program or look for an updated version?

Probably just going to uninstall it. The version I have is the most updated one. Very annoying but at least it's been figured out. Does this relate to the bluescreens I've had?

It could have related to the BSOD errors but it's more likely the drivers being out of date that caused that. Anything else I can assist with?

Yes, actually. Thank you so much for your help, but I actually just got another blue screen. Here is the text file:
