I'll try in safe mode...

Please do not .rar any fix I provide you or boot in Safe Mode without me instructing you to do so. Now, follow the instructions in the last fix I post, and use Process Monitor to capture a trace. You'll send me the trace file so I can see what's happening.

Fix to use: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...cannow-corruptions-post128267.html#post128267

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Attempt the previous fix by dragging the SFCFix.zip file over the top of SFCFix.exe and letting go of the mouse just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as the log file opens. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up LogFile.PML file as well as your SFCFix.log and upload it to SendSpace and just provide the link.

Process Monitor doesn't work for me in safe mode. Not a single .zip you have uploaded has worked for me as all show as corrupt.

Running process monitor
dragging sfcfix.zip [which includes only a text file to load hive]
stopping process monitor as log opens, saving
uploading logfile.pml to sendspace https://www.sendspace.com/file/wkso3d
and sfx results are

Followed to the tee.

I'll be away from home the next day or so. I'll remove my windows password so i can remote in and restart and login to windows again if need be.

Follow the instructions below please.

Temp File Cleaner (TFC)
  • Download Temp File Cleaner (TFC) and move it to your Desktop;
  • Right-click on the executable and select
    Spcusrh.png
    Run as Administrator;
  • Simply click on Start to launch the clean-up and wait until it completes;
    s5yB2E8.png
  • Depending on which processes are running, all your programs will be closed and explorer.exe (your Windows shell) will be killed, it will however be relaunched shortly after so do not panic;
  • There's no log to give for this tool;

Once done, if it asks you to restart your computer, do it. After that, disable COMODO Internet Security and try to run SFCFix with SFCFix.zip again like instructed here:

Tried in safe mode.

Sorry for the delay indanon. Currently waiting for a reply from the developper of SFCFix before I give you further instructions.

Hi indanon, just dropping by to tell you that I haven't forgot about you. The issue you're experiencing with SFCFix have been reported to the developper (another Analyst also reported that same issue, and I have another user which have it as well) and we're awaiting a reply from him, since we need SFCFix in order to move on in our threads.

Thank you!
