[SOLVED] Win7 to 10 Upgrade crashes with Error Code: 0x80070003 - 0x2000D

No. The log result is unexpected.
Please do following.

Warning: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Do not run this script on another machine.
  1. Download the attachment fixlist.txt and save it to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on FRST64.exe and select "Run as administrator".
  3. Press the Fix button.
  4. The tool will now process fixlist.txt.
  5. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  6. When finished, a log called Fixlog.txt will appear in the same directory the tool is run from.
  7. Attach the logfile Fixlog.txt to your next reply.

Hey Peter, just tried the upgrade with similar results as previously unfort :(
Are you getting an idea of what the issues with my machine could be?
 
Attach the file C:\windows\logs\mosetup\bluebox.log ones again to your next reply.
 
Try to delete the folder C:\$WINDOWS.~BT.
Report the result.
 
Delete the folder, reboot the machine, then retry the upgrade.
Use the upgrade-installer which is placed on the C: drive, not the upgrade-installer on any external device.
 
Rebooted, placed the MediaCreation tool on C: and tried the upgrade... Same result :(
Checking the BlueBox.log file, it seems that most of the problems reported are while deleting content and encountering a symlink? I cant see any in the WindowsBT folder but the whole thing is set as ReadOnly, not sure it helps.
 
Open the Control-Panel, select Network and sharing center.
Click Change adapter settings.
Right-click the network adapter that you currently use, select Properties.
Provide a screenshot of the window that appears.
 
I expect you use "Local Area Connection".
Right-click on that item and select Properties.
Provide a screenshot of the window that appears.
 
Highlight "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)". Click Properties.
Provide a screenshot of the window that appears.
On that window click Advanced.
Provide a screenshot of the new window that appears as well.

MiniToolBox and save the file on your desktop.

Note: Save all your work and close all programs!
Rightclick "MiniToolBox" and select "Run as administrator".

If you see the startup message "Are you sure you want to continue?" select Yes.

Put a checkmark at Select All.
Click "Go".
When the scan is finished a log file with the name "MTB.txt" will appear on your desktop.
Attach this log file to your next reply.
