Hi again,

the SP1 installation now first says "succesfull" but by or while
restart it says not succesfully installed and goes back to old state.
It was much further now but not enough :huh:
And with new error number: 0x800f0826 as seen on picture.

Here are the log files, hope they will help (what about the other errors in the old log files?)

First everthing goes right. See Picture 1.
Then after a little time working the messiege in picture 2 comes up and go back to last state.
I have installed all Updates prior to SP1. WinUpdate cant find any other as in picture updates shown.
Here is Update history for info. Some updates come back as seen in update history in pic4.
PS: is there an Update pack maybe for all updates before SP1?

It says SP1 install succesfully and when i restart it worked twice till to 6% (by running down and running up)
and then the same error 0x800f0826 and blue pictures as in thread #26.
Any other ideas please? It worked further...but not to the end, we are on the way... :banghead:

4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
6. SFCFix will now process the script.
7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put tags around the log to break up the text.

If successful, go ahead and attempt SP1 again.

I cant believe it after all. Now i have over 140 new updates (after SP1succesfully installed) and hope everything works well.

it hink its not completly solved because the bthport.sys error persist.
If i make an SFC scan it brings errors that it can not repair something.
When i try to run SFCfix it will bring bth.port error:

1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

   Wait for this to finish before you continue
   
   copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt
4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

here is the wished log zip-attached.
What about the KB2538242 that will come again and again even it is succesfully installed as WU says.
But a search for it in installed Updates doesnt find anything!?
An manualy deinstall (before an reinstall) with wsua kB:2538242 doesn´t find it even WU says it is succesfully
installed every time wu makes his job (to see in picture).
