3. Download the ISO file to your desktop.
4. Double-click on the ISO and then run the setup to try and upgrade your machine.
We want to get the ISO so that you don't have to keep downloading which can take hours.
I have installed Windows 10. The boot time before the password screen still takes quite a while, but the loading speed after the password screen does returned to normal.
Yes, I'm connecting the computer to an external monitor through HDMI cable. Are you suggesting that's the cause? I have tried to boot computer without the HDMI connection and the boot time doesn't seem to improve.

The SFC scan returns "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them." A second scan returns no integrity violation.
