Voltage spikes and dips can cause BSODs. Perhaps you should continue to monitor for a while longer and post new logs if you get any more BSODs. When both modules are together they work as a pair (dual channel mode) and so it is possible that together they can give errors which are not seen in single channel mode. Memory modules have to be identical to work as a pair.
