I'm not completely sure about Windows 10 yet. If I do get Windows 10, I'll get a separate computer so I can keep my Windows 7 laptop.

Pretty sure it's of cookie thing. Now it works in Google Chrome and I didn't do anything (I didn't even use Corrine's direct link). I'm stumped.
And your link works too Corrine (I tried it after).
But, it is still Windows 8.1 ProI don't think that this edition of Windows 8.1 is eligible for the free upgrade since it's "embedded".
No such folder and no such update is available and nor installedBut it's also Industry EmbeddedDid you check if you have the KB3035583 installed? And the GWX folder in C:\Windows\System32?
MSDN is a good option for people who want to do clean installation. I wonder if this edition from Dreamspark would support the Upgrade to Windows 10.You have MSDN, so it's all goodIf you search for Windows Updates manually, does it come up?
Since Dreamspark, and thus Windows 8.1 Pro Industry Embedded, is from your school, it appears that there will be a different path to upgrade available. From my post at Introducing Windows 10 Editions:I haven't received any kind of notification despite the system being fully updated. Any chance it might be because I am running the Windows 8.1 Pro Industry Embedded from Dreamspark?
