Windows 10 corrupt files when running SFCfix

From what I found with that error code, it may mean that Office 2010 is unable to find the original source files.
Was Office 2010 installed from a disc?

Hi, originally my Laptop came with Windows 8 and Office 10 with a free update to Windows10 and office 2013, that's exactly where I am now. I'm not sure if the original files are still on this PC with the upgrades.

Hi,

it eventually made 100% download but wont install as it asks for a disk which i do not have as it was an upgrade. See attachments

what now?

I can't even get into my PC now, it keeps wanting to repair and cannot, I'm stuck on a HP diagnostic blue page, cannot get in

I managed to do a cold restart, all plugs out and battery, managed to get into window and my word, it is sooooo slow and non responsive, what went wrong from yesterday when the PC was running beautifully? I am running a sfcFix scan now so will post text as I'm puzzled with what has happened after all the fixes yesterday, it worked quick and beautifully

That is interesting.

I'd like to check the SMART stats on your disk.

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:

  • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Extract the content of the GSmartControl .zip archive and execute gsmartcontrol.exe; To extract you can right-click your mouse on the GSmartControl.zip file and select Extract.
  • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
  • Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, copy and paste their name in your next reply (or take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply);

Wow it updated perfectly, thank you. does that mean my PC is fixed?

Yes, try to install the Windows Update again.

Let me know what the code is if you get an error.
